INTERIOR DESIGN
This regional headquarters for the Mitsubishi Industrial Company Group is a vibrant evolution of Japandi design, where industrial precision meets organic warmth. The concept is anchored in Komorebi—the poetic Japanese term for sunlight filtering through leaves. This is achieved through rhythmic timber slats and perforated metal screens that create a dynamic movement of light and shadow across the floor plate, shifting throughout the day to mirror the natural rhythm of the sun. The workspace is a lush biophilic sanctuary, featuring internal bamboo groves and moss-covered feature walls that soften the clean, geometric lines. Accents of Mitsubishi’s corporate palette are woven into the natural textures through "colorful Japandi" elements—muted terracottas and deep teals—ensuring the office feels both professional and revitalizing. It is a high-performance environment where the mechanical and the medicinal properties of nature exist in perfect, luminous harmony.
